Hi Tom,

I would have written sooner, but there was really nothing to write. I have been going to the gym 3 or 4 days a week and I’ve been doing an upper and lower body workout, playing racket ball some days, going to a spinning class (that really helps my stamina), working on my balance and other drills we did. I even tried sled hockey!

I’ve finally got 3 things to tell you.

1) People at the gym recently have been coming up to me and telling me how much better I’m looking. I’m leaving the binky at home now that the weather is nice, I walk with no aide at the gym and people are telling me I look pretty normal. I feel pretty normal, especially after a spin class.

2) I’m trying cranio-sacral therapy and that is loosening the connective tissue in my back allowing me to stand up straighter when I walk. We are also working on some core training.

3) I recently got a new walking stick and that allows me to stand taller when I walk. It’s much easier on my wrist than a cane.
